💙 Another HUGE thank you to First Citizens Bank in Osage! 💙

The Mitchell County Historical Society is incredibly grateful for their generous contribution and continued support. Community partners like First Citizens Bank help preserve our local history, protect treasured artifacts, and keep the stories of Mitchell County alive for future generations.

🙌 We’re thankful for every person and business who is helping build something lasting.

If you’ve been thinking about supporting the MCHS, there are many meaningful ways to give beyond a traditional donation, including:
✅ Gifts of stock
✅ IRA charitable distributions
✅ Gift of grain
✅ Bequests through your will

Every gift—big or small—helps establish the Mitchell County Historical Society on solid ground for years to come.

📩 Message us if you’d like to learn more or talk through options.

Wonderful crowd and wonderful time at the annual meeting last Sunday and visiting the new museum to see our progress to date. Here is Krista demonstrating our recent donation of a pipe organ that's been around since 1913 in Mitchell County - in more than one church!

Again, a huge thanks to the Knights of Columbus of Osage Sacred Heart Church for hosting the breakfast Sunday. Benefits go to the Mitchell County Historical Society. I've heard that it was the largest crowd they ever had and they basically ran out of everything except pancakes and sausage! Thank you also to the community for supporting the breakfast and the MCHS!
