Wonderful crowd and wonderful time at the annual meeting last Sunday and visiting the new museum to see our progress to date. Here is Krista demonstrating our recent donation of a pipe organ that's been around since 1913 in Mitchell County - in more than one church!

Another reminder inviting you to attend our annual gathering tomorrow at 2:00. Short meeting, refreshments and then tour the new museum. A great Sunday thing to do.

The public is invited to our Annual Meeting next Sunday afternoon at 2:00. We'll meet in the Mitchell County Conservation Board building for our program and then tours of the new museum will be available for anyone interested. Come and share in our county's history.

Yesterday was a BIG day for the museum as we acknowledge two donations from Osage banks who help support our community, preserve the past and enhance the future of Mitchell County! (That's the MCHS motto, by the way!) Thank you in the biggest way!

Again, a huge thanks to the Knights of Columbus of Osage Sacred Heart Church for hosting the breakfast Sunday. Benefits go to the Mitchell County Historical Society. I've heard that it was the largest crowd they ever had and they basically ran out of everything except pancakes and sausage! Thank you also to the community for supporting the breakfast and the MCHS!
