Born on this day in 1957, John Simon Ritchie, better known as Sid Vicious, became one of the most recognizable and controversial figures in punk rock history. As the bassist of the S*x Pistols, his chaotic energy, rebellious attitude, and unmistakable image made him a lasting symbol of punk culture. He would have turned 69 today.

We have had a number of people stop in over the past few days under the impression that our shop is a resale shop.

IT IS NOT!!

All of our merchandise (with the exception of some of the items we have that are highly collectible) is BRAND NEW!!

Also, while we do have some art created by some young artists we know, we do not have art from 20 artists! Most of it is created by our own resident Anarchist, Sid!!

HOW time flies!!🤯

On this day in 1977, the Misfits played their first-ever live show. The performance took place on April 18th at the legendary CBGB in New York City, as part of one of the venue’s weekly Audition Showcase nights, marking the beginning of one of punk’s most iconic legacies.

The lineup featured Glenn Danzig on vocals and keyboards, Jerry Only on bass and backing vocals, and Manny Martinez on drums, notably performing without a guitarist.

To this day, no photos or video footage of that show are known to exist.
