Floral designs have many aspects—there are so many ways to use artificial flowers and greenery. I have had many years as a professional florist, and I love to share my experience with you. In our class, I hope to inspire you how to design a small holiday container centerpiece that has your own uniqueness. This class will focus on small table displays. The theme can be Halloween or fall. Artificial flowers and Halloween-themed objects will be provided, as well as a small wood container. You are welcome to bring your own items. I will be there for guidance as to how to display them.

Art with Coffee: Chain Pull Acrylic Painting
Saturday, September 26, 10 am–noon

Instructor: Theresa Bower

$15 for members and $20 for non-members
No need to register; just come!

Theresa has taught paint pouring in the past. Chain pull painting is another form of fluid art. The class will work on three paintings using different-sized beaded chains and thinned paints, pulling different colors of paint through the background color, which creates a frond-like pattern in the paint.

Theresa will demonstrate for the class and then help them through the process.

Due to the setup for this type of work, the class will be limited to 10 people.

The paintings will have to dry for a few days, so the participants may pick up their work on the following Wednesday from 10 am to 1 pm, or Thursday from 5 to 8 pm.
