“Sacred Forest” by spoke to her heart. Her sun-drenched lounge, both our client’s reflective yet energizing place to gather with friends seemed to be the perfect place for this vibrant painting. Her wall visually connects the inside with the outside world, which she so loves. As the artist expresses, the pink in her work symbolizes the “energy” of the forest! What a room for immersing oneself into a “greater presence” and intention for each new day!

Cracking open new perspectives, the humble egg meets its masterpiece! The Broken Egg sculpture is Jerry Richardson’s newest wood-turned creation from sustainably sourced cherry and walnut wood, enhanced with dyed epoxy. The egg, a popular theme in modern art, symbolizes Regeneration and New Life, Fragility and Protection, the Cosmos and Creation. Jerry Richardson is a UMKC Emeritus Professor of River Engineering, hence his company name, Water and Wood Designs. His woodwork reflects his belief that form and function replicate in all natural systems.

The sculptural and functional “Puddle Table” by local artist Barry Osbourn emulates a puddle of paint. Over a year in the making, this entire table was created from poured resin! Other styles complete Barry’s pedestal table collection, incorporating colored resin, wood or metal. Exceptionally one-of-a-kind!
