The First Annual Looking Back Gala: Our Roaring Twenties will be held on Saturday,
May 16 from 5:00-9:00 PM at the Pumpelly Estate, 44 Front Street. This black-tie event
benefits the Tioga County Historical Society and encourages the attendees to wear
formal 1920s attire. The cost is $100/person or $150/couple, and each attendee will get
one free drink. The event is catered by the Cellar Restaurant, and there will be music,
wonderful food being provided by the Cellar Restaurant.
The evening starts with a cocktail hour from 5:00—6:00, with some important
announcements and appreciations from 6:00—6:30. Dinner will be held from 6:30 to
7:30 with a garden salad to start, followed by your choice of Chicken Piccata, Pork
Tenderloin with Balsamic Glaze, or Pappardelle Pomodoro. All entrees will be served
with potatoes and seasonal vegetables, along with rolls and butter. There will be 4-5
varieties of passed hors d’oeuvres during the cocktail hour, followed by a dessert
station.
Bob Powell will provide musical entertainment during the event, there will be time for
dancing, before the event winds down to close at 9:00 PM. There will also be a photo
booth to capture your elegance for posterity.
In addition, there will be a silent auction of donated high-end items, so bring your money
and checkbooks as Lucas Kaczynski will lead the auction.
