Owen County Historical Society Our History Museum and Research Center at 206 N Main Street in Owenton is open to the public for guided tours and genealogical research.

Donations of artifacts, family histories and old photos of local people and places are welcome. However, due to our limited space, artifacts offered for donation must be reviewed by our acquisition committee. Please contact Larry Dale Perry to arrange for examination of your ar

ticles. Regular meetings are held the second Thursday of each month at the I.O.O.F. Lodge hall located at 141 West Seminary Street, Owenton, Ky. Everyone is invited to attend. The meeting begins at 6:30 p.m. with a period of fellowship and refreshments followed by the program of the month at 7:00. Board Meetings are held on the 4th Thursday of every month at 6:30 p.m. at the Odd Fellows' Hall. Membership dues are $25.00 per person annually for a single membership and $35.00 for a family membership. Please remit to the Owen County Historical Society, 206 N Main St, Owenton, KY 40359.
