Some of you already know and love the mesmerizing digital collage work of my sister, Beth Sotherden… and now you finally get the chance to meet the artist behind it all!

Beth, our one and only “non-local” gallery artist, is visiting all the way from Syracuse, New York and has brought a wonderful collection of new work with her. Her pieces are full of color, light, texture and tiny details that seem to reveal something new every time you look.

So tomorrow — Saturday, May 2nd from 1–5pm — we’re hosting a special Meet The Artist event at The Art & Craft Space!

You’ll be able to meet and chat with Beth, and also with 14-year-old photographer Avery Currin. Don’t let her age fool you… Avery’s photography absolutely flies out of here, and people are constantly amazed by her eye for composition and storytelling.

And just to make the afternoon even sweeter:
