Here's a little roll of random pictures of the shop throughout the years. Those first few shots are how we found it--foam flooring for a kids' tumbling studio plus a leaky roof made for a grungy project. We wanted character. We got character. New starter technology for old cats. On the right is the original starter motor from our 1962 Jaguar MkII. It’s huge, heavy, and doesn’t work particularly well. On the left is the new Lucas gear reduction starter. It’s 2/3s the size, half the weight, has a whole lot more torque, and a 5 year warranty. This isn’t the Lucas of yesterday.

Things that make a very loud noise when it breaks: this is the 1/2” socket end of a very long breaker bar…that sorta evaporated itself. In an effort to free up a stick Jaguar motor so I can spin it to access the torque converter bolts, and I had to get a little medieval but now it’s spinning free as a bird.
