There was a very brief window of sunshine on the morning of December 26 in the Sturgeon Bay WI area, then fog again. There are countless beautiful sights in Door County that I want to see and photograph...and paint. I'll be back.

So, the plan was to photograph the big red lighthouse in Sturgeon Bay on Christmas Day. As you can see by the first photograph, it was out there..somewhere in the fog, plus there was a considerable patch of mud to cross to get to the best vantage point. Plan B: December 26 there was still fog in the air, so no sharp photographs to be had, but I was glad to find a place to shoot a few frames.
