🌱 Monday Art Talk: When art connects complex ideas

What does it mean to be connected to the world around us? In To See the Earth Before the End of the World, artist Precious Okoyomon explores the relationships between nature, humanity, and the systems that shape our environment.

As we look toward 2027, Connection is one of six pillars guiding the Yeiser’s vision for the future. We believe art can help us see our place within something much larger than ourselves.

This week, take a moment to consider a time when seeing something visually helped you understand it 🌿

🏛️ A Home for the Arts 🦋

This holiday season, help us strengthen what we’ve built and plan for the future of the arts in western Kentucky!

As Yeiser Art Center approaches its 70th year in Paducah, we’re looking ahead to what’s possible. Your support helps us keep the arts accessible, create opportunities for artists, bring our community together, and build a vibrant future for the arts.

✨ Visit Yeiser Art Center to see our community sculpture on display through the end of the year. With a donation of $25 or more, you can add a named butterfly in the color of one of our six pillars, helping shape the future of The Yeiser.

Help us raise $70,000 to build a home for the arts. Donate today and be part of what comes next! ❤️

Donation can be made at theyeiser.org/donate or by visiting or mailing to our gallery

We are excited for Mrs. D'Heilly to lead our art and wellness initiative. A million thank you to Kennedy Williams for writing this lovely article and leading our poetry club, "Common Grounds." Arts organizations are nothing without passionate team members and a community that continually shows up and I am very honored to be working with so many great people
