THIS SATURDAY NIGHT, MARCH 28th, from 5 pm to 8 pm at Jaco Moretti Arts “SEDGWICK GUTH: YES, YOU ARE NOW SOMEONE NEW”.

Please join me in welcoming the critically acclaimed artist Sedgwick Guth to the gallery with his solo exhibition of all new work “Yes, You Are Now Someone New”.

Sedgwick Guth is a highly talented multimedia artist who is making his Palm Springs debut after a critically acclaimed exhibition in LA last fall. In a show about spiritual and physical transformation in the lives of gay and q***r men, the artwork itself seems to transform before your eyes — what appear at first to be large-scale paintings reveal themselves to be multimedia artworks made of yarn, string, gold leaf, silver thread and other repurposed materials in a style that is both totally unique to this artist and completely innovative.

We are so proud and grateful for this wonderful, very moving review, and we are also grateful to be hosting this extraordinary exhibition.

COMING SOON! Art collectors, save the date! On Saturday, December 13th from 5 PM until 8 PM we will present “Dunas de Sal” a collection of over 50 new works by the Spanish artist Bran Sólo, who is making his California gallery debut with this show.

Inspired by the sandy dunes frequented by men on the beaches near his home in southern Spain, Dunas de Sal” (“The Salt Dunes”) is, in the words of the artist, “about the loneliness of summer, about fleeting loves, forbidden places and skins that taste of salt.”

Please join us on Saturday December 13 from 5 PM until 8 PM for the opening reception of this remarkable one-man show. See you there!

“Dunas de Sal” will run from Saturday, December 13 through Sunday January 4, 2026.

Opens this Thursday, Oct 23!! Please join us this Thursday 10/23 from 5 pm to 8 pm for our opening night reception of “The Art of Leather” our exhibition in honor of Palm Springs Leather Pride.

This is a group show with paintings, drawings and photography from 7 different artists. The exhibition includes the world debut of the documentary photo series “The Last Nights at the Barracks” by photographer Michael McFadden, who captured images from the last evenings of The Barracks bar before it closed in 2024.

We hope that you will join us this Thursday evening at the Gallery for our opening night reception. Leather gear is welcome. Refreshments will be served!
