➡️www.captcolesaulsart.com I use a variety of techniques.

I’m an all-around marine artist& you can find me fishing the waters of the Gulf Of Mexico and hunting the lands of South Alabama with my family. I am married to an awesome woman who loves to fish and hunt as much as I do, and we have a super awesome little boy named Barrett. My goal with my artwork is to capture that feeling of realistic scenes and portray real-life outdoor experiences —freezing i

t to be shared and re-lived over and over again by those that hang my art on their wall. Everything from oil paints, acrylic paints, pencils, and charcoal. To see more of my original artwork and available prints, check out my website: www.captcolesaulsart.com

He said this painting needed a ballyhoo in it…I ignored the creative director this time 😂🎣

Luckily Barrett decided to let it slide for this one.

Big blue marlin. Heavy texture. Built to feel like that moment right before chaos erupts behind the boat.

What do y’all think…should I have listened to him? 👀

DM me to purchase this one or talk about a custom piece for your space.

POV: you walked up to watch me live paint…and accidentally bought it before I finished.

This marsh scene didn’t even make it through the day at the Cultural Arts Alliance of Walton County ArtsQuest Art festival.

Tailing redfish pushing bait in the grass.
An egret mid-hunt.
Heavy texture catching light like a real sunrise on the flats.

And somewhere between the first layer and the final stroke… it was already claimed.

That’s what happens when a piece hits before it’s done.

Most people wait to see the final product.
Collectors don’t.

If you’ve been looking for a marsh piece that actually feels like you’re standing in it… you already know how this goes.

Next one won’t last either.

DM me “NEXT” and I’ll make sure you see it before anyone else.

It was a great first day at the Cultural Arts Alliance of Walton County ArtsQuest Art festival in Grand Boulevard. Met some incredible people and sold this piece live while painting it, along with a few others. If you’re in the area come check out my work and see what I’ll be painting live for day 2 tomorrow!

That awkward skinny wall space? Fixed.

Final touches on this jellyfish piece, heavy texture, clean movement, and built to draw your eye up. This isn’t just art… it’s the piece that finally makes that narrow space make sense.

I know you’ve been looking for something to go there. This is it.

DM me to purchase this one before it’s gone.

Thinking about dropping a full coastal collection in this style… should I?
Comment “COASTAL” if you want first access 👀

Stop scrolling…this isn’t just a painting.

It’s a real swordfish…transferred to canvas.

Every scar. Every line. Every ounce of power… untouched.
You’re not looking at an interpretation, you’re looking at the fish itself, frozen in time.

This is Gyotaku.
It doesn’t recreate the catch…it preserves it.

The kind of piece that turns a fishing story into a statement on your wall.

Starting a new trend…when everything blends 🔥

When your art isn’t just on the wall…it is the wall.

“Drown”, a monochromatic, heavily textured marlin designed to disappear into the space until the texture catches you. Same tone. Same frame. Same energy.

This is what happens when art becomes an extension of your home instead of just something you hang in it.

Imagine this concept matched perfectly to your walls 👀

“Drown” is available.
DM me to claim this piece or commission a custom built to your exact space.

This blue heron is coming to life.

Heavy texture. Palette knife work. Drips that hit different in person.
Built for a clean, high-end coastal space.

What would you name this one? 👇

DM me “HERON” if you want first shot when it’s finished.

Sometimes asking Barrett is the real test 😂

I asked him what this blue marlin painting needed…
“Add a ballyhoo.”

Lucky for me, he didn’t tear this one apart 😅

I won’t be adding the ballyhoo on this one… keeping it clean.

This piece is almost ready to find its spot on the right wall.

If you could see this in your home, send me a DM before it’s gone.

New reveal: a blue marlin that refuses to stay inside the canvas.

Blue-gray monochromatic tones. Heavy texture. Raw drips falling like it just exploded on the bite.

If you’ve spent time offshore, you know this moment… the surge, the chaos, the power. This piece was built to bring that energy straight into your space.

Designed for sportfishing boats, waterfront homes, and collectors who live for blue water.

Original. One of one. And pieces like this don’t sit long.

What would you name this one?

DM me if this belongs on your boat or in your home.

POV: you just found the calmest place on earth…and something just broke the silence

There’s a moment in the marsh right before the sun fully rises…water turns to glass, everything slows down…
tails start popping and the hunt begins.

This piece is still in progress, but you can already feel it…the stillness, the tension, life moving just beneath the surface.

Marsh sunrise. Tailing redfish. Egret on the hunt.
This is why I paint what I paint.

If you want to see how this one comes to life in real time, I’ll be working on finishing it LIVE at the Cultural Arts Alliance of Walton County ArtQuest Festival (May 2nd & 3rd). Come watch it evolve layer by layer.

What should I name this piece? Drop it below. 👇

“Off The Rip” now available.

Deep blue tones, texture, and built to feel like that first explosive strike right out the gate. This blue marlin piece isn’t just something you look at… it’s something you feel.

These originals don’t sit long, and this one was made to be a statement.

If it speaks to you, don’t wait.

DM me to purchase “Off The Rip” or to get on my list for future releases or commissions.
