Happy Mother's Day from the Greene County Museum! The Greene County Museum will be open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. today. It would be a wonderful day to stroll through the museum as you remember Mother's Days of the past and celebrate this weekend. The museum is located at 130 South 14th Street in Paragould. Admission is always free, but all donations are appreciated.

YES! The Greene County Museum is open on this rainy day. It’s a good day to visit the museum, see the Paragould meteorite, and walk down memory lane. We’re open until 2 this afternoon. Admission is free, but donations are truly appreciated.

NOTE from the GREENE COUNTY MUSEUM:
The museum will be closed for the Easter weekend this coming Friday and Saturday, April 3 and 4. We will be back on our regular schedule on Friday and Saturday, April 10 and 11, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.

A Greene County Museum flashback from March 12, 2020–six years ago today—
Our post that day read as follows: “Due to growing concerns over the Covid-19 virus, the GREENE COUNTY MUSEUM will be closed from March 13 until March 27. Our wish is that you--our guests--and the museum family remain safe and well.” Little did we know that we would be closed much longer than two weeks because of the Covid Pandemic.

This weekend is definitely a happier time for the GC Museum. We will be open Friday and Saturday, March 13 and 14. Our volunteers will meet you at the front door and will guide you through the rooms of heirlooms and artifacts of our past. Bring your family and friends and see the treasures that are on display.

We also give private tours for 6 or more for schools, church group, class reunions, civic organizations, etc. Just call 870-240-5810 or 832-545-1343 to work out the details.

The Greene County Museum will be closed this weekend—January 2 and 3. We will reopen on Friday, January 9, at 10 a.m. There is no admission fee, but donations are appreciated. The museum is located at 130 South 14th Street in Paragould. Yes, we are the home of the Paragould Meteorite that slammed into earth in the Finch Community in February, 1930.
