Remembering and honoring the brave individuals who laid down their lives in service to our country. 🇺🇸

At the Hopewell Museum/HPBC, we are deeply grateful for the sacrifices made by our service members and their families - both here in Bourbon County and across the nation. Today, we pause to reflect on their legacy of courage, dedication, and profound selflessness.

In observance of Memorial Day, our historic galleries will be closed today so that our staff, board, and volunteers can spend this meaningful time with their families and loved ones.

We look forward to welcoming you back Wednesday during our regular hours as we continue preserving and sharing the rich history of our community.

The Hopewell Museum is looking for volunteers to help with tours, events, and all the behind-the-scenes museum magic. No archaeology degree required - just a willingness to help and maybe tolerate a little fun.

Mother's Day might have already passed, but the Hopewell Museum wants to celebrate mothers all over again 🌸

"For All Our Mothers" will be an afternoon tea to celebrate maternal figures of all kinds. Join us for an assortment of teas, tasty pastries, and family-friendly activities. A highlight of this event will be a record-your-own-history book, where children of all ages will learn more about their family histories through the life stories their mothers will share.
