Logan County Museum

Logan County Museum The Logan County Museum is housed in the fourth Logan County jail, built in 1903. The "Old Jail" was the site of last legally sanctioned hanging in Arkansas.

This unique building is listed on the National Register of Historic places and contains many historical artifacts and a wealth of information about the jail and Logan County, Arkansas. The museum is free to the public. Donations are appreciate to help our efforts in preserving and maintaining our community's history. Operation and preservation of the building and its contents is under the directio

n of the Logan County Association. Membership is welcomed and open to all people with an interest in preserving the unique history of the jail and of Logan County Arkansas.

The museum will be open from 11 till 4 today. Saturday May 2nd Go enjoy the Spring Festival and stop by the museum for a tour.
