Hey guys! I’m excited to announce that that the museum will return to normal hours starting Tuesday! 🙌🏻😍 (Friday I will be unavailable during normal hours but will be available in the evening)

Thank you all so much for the love and support sent my way while I was on leave; it was a little “rocky” with recovery and our sweet baby Croix ending up in the hospital with RSV 😭 It’s fair to say I’m glad that it is behind us both as I’m looking forward to continuing improvements, planning and working on long term expansion and growth, and most importantly seeing familiar and new faces this ‘26 season!

Hi everyone. Due to scheduling conflicts the grand opening of the museum is postponed until a later date. Rest assured it will still happen and it’ll be better than ever, I just want it done right 🤍 so sorry for the disappointment but it will be well worth it in the long run!

Hi friends! I’m sorry I have been rather quiet lately as I was nearing the end of pregnancy. Now, our big healthy boy made his arrival early at 38w3d 🤍I had full intentions on posting this sooner but wasn’t expecting baby to come when he did, I also lost a significant amount of blood during the c section- according to my nurse “they don’t know exactly how much I lost but if they were to reference the measurements from the aspirator/suction in the OR; I should be dead.” And was also discharged with low levels of hemoglobin and blood count. Any lower this post would likely be a bit different 😅 so with that said, I allowed myself to pause and to simply enjoy the moments with my boys while recovering. While I’m on maternity leave, the museum will be temporarily closed but can make arrangements if needed. I will absolutely cherish this time and rest assured I’ll be back at it soon enough 🤍 ☺️

As we approach registration day for our 2026 Public Fossil Digs, its a good time to talk about some history regarding our program. Since 2008, we have had attendees from 45 US states! We are very excited by this, but we'd love to fill out the remaining five states.

Want to help us reach that goal? If you're interested in attending the 2026 NDGS Public Fossil Digs and your current home address is in Idaho, Mississippi, Rhode Island, Utah, or Vermont, please reach out to us before January 31st and we'll do our best to help get you into the digs this year. Together we can fill in the rest of this map!
