With deep sadness, Pennsauken Historical Society takes note of the passing of a longtime servant and leader of the Society, John Weber. John Weber showed by his service in multiple offices of the Society that he embodied a deep appreciation of history and particularly the history of our local region. John had a special affection for Burrough-Dover House and its surrounding grounds, where he spent many hours re-establishing and clearing the nature trail and interacting with all visitors during and between events with his natural charm and humility. As right-hand man to his close friend Joseph Fitzpatrick (then-president of the Society) John Weber served as Building and Grounds Chairman and then as Vice President, before assuming leadership as President of the Society for a number of years. John’s exemplary devotion and his humor and cheerful disposition through difficulties serve as inspiration even now as he is missed by Pennsauken Historical Society. Thank you, John. https://carusocare.com/tribute/details/3297/John-Weber/obituary.html?fbclid=IwY2xjawRll5RleHRuA2FlbQIxMQBicmlkETFTclRHV0RDZVNmOGlXVjJvc3J0YwZhcHBfaWQQMjIyMDM5MTc4ODIwMDg5MgABHsBs1o3mkeME9yNJnShNDvx7aH9ho7XxzAle2lLYt_Mwndla41S4mPdukJJ0_aem_y0dQKMUY7Lfw8nqMzSAGUg
