Central Illinois Polymer Clay Guild About The CIPCG (Central Illinois Polymer Clay Guild) Charlene (Cat) Therien was the founding President; Pam Miller is the current President.

The CIPCG was established in 2003, and became a member of the International Polymer Clay Association that same year. The CIPCG meetings are open to the public. The guild meets monthly at the Hobby Lobby craft store in Peoria, Illinois. Meetings are called “Clay Day”, and are preceded by an inexpensive polymer clay class, which is also open to the public, but registration for the class must be made

ahead of time. The Clay Day starts at 1:00 pm and goes until the members decide to end. Members and visitors are encouraged to bring the polymer clay projects they have been working on. The meeting is an informal get-together which often includes a pot-luck supper. Polymer clay projects are encouraged, so members and visitors can bring their clay and tools to work on a project during the guild meeting. No dues are collected at this time, and membership in the guild is free. We have an online forum through Yahoo, in which we connect with one another throughout the month to discuss our guild and other polymer clay related interests.

Hello! If you still get messages from here, you probably realize the guild is not active. I was teaching my clay but was told it wasnt corporate approved so had to stop. I'd like to start them again if/when I find a place and I will announce it here. i'll probably start a new site tho and will put it here too.
I am teaching a FREE intro to clay class at the local (washington, IL) library main branch on Feb 20th. 6pmTo come you must call them and sign up. its filling up fast. We will make a pendant or 2 and learn alot about clay. So fun! supplies are provided too. I just ask that if you register and can't come- please let them know so we can add someone else. Okay. So yesterday I'd suggested our members post some pics of their polymer clay projects. But what I forgot was the format for pages doesn't allow for those posts to show up on the main timeline. There's just some limitations to the way pages are formatted.

I've solved that problem by making a facebook GROUP for the Central Illinois Polymer Clay Guild. You can reach it at the link below. We'll use that to post our pretties instead of this page, because it's easier. But we'll still keep this page, so we can post highlights or direct visitors over to our group.
