Welcome! Go to celebratesheen.com for the hours. Sheen Museum. It is open to the public and is free of charge.

Since 2008, the Catholic Diocese of Peoria has hosted the official Archbishop Fulton J. However, your donation for the upkeep is very much appreciated! Sheen Museum is located in the Spalding Pastoral Center. Archbishop Sheen never forgot his Peoria roots. The Diocese of Peoria are proud to host his museum on the same historic campus where he graduated from high school. The Museum is also only one

block away from the Cathedral of Saint Mary of the Immaculate Conception, where Sheen attended grade school, learned to serve Mass, and was ordained a priest on Sept. 20, 1919. The cathedral is also the place of his final resting place. The Sheen Museum is maintained by the Archbishop Fulton John Sheen Foundation and is proud to display a wide variety of artifacts from the Archbishop's life which are housed in several collections. The museum is open 9:00 am to 4:00pm Monday through Friday.

The military-patriotic display in the The Archbishop Fulton Sheen Museum has two items that are closely connected to the U.S. Military Academy at West Point. One is a symbolic sword (all boys' favorite!) given to Archbishop Sheen on the occasion of his visit at the academy in April 1976 (donated by Paul Cunningham and Joan Sheen Cunningham). The other is Sheen's letter dated November 1976 to Cadet Michael J. White, recommending especially training in discipline.
The Museum will be closed in observance of the upcoming Memorial Day, reopening May 26, 2026.
