Museum Monday: These 19th Century stereoscopes were created by Oliver Wendell Holmes in 1861. These remained in production for a century. The 7-inch cards used by these models are known as Holmes stereo cards.

Museum Monday: We have a sewing machine that was used at Houston High School in Home Economics. The fabrics and notions in the basket are from Milam Department Store.

Museum Monday: I loved Shirley Temple when I was younger. It was the 70s, and she was the main character in over 40 films, mostly in the late 1930s. We had four channels at home. UHF showed her movies on Sundays. And tv shows were really boring on Sundays. She was my escape. Visit her pristine paper doll (about 3’ tall) that was donated by Susan Bloodworth. Do you have any Shirley Temple stories?
