Three Myths About Women Who Quilt (That Will Make You LOL)

💚“They’re all grandmas with cats.”
Sure, some quilters are grandmas with cats (cats do love a good quilt), but the quilting world is full of creative women of all ages, rocking tattoos, sipping oat milk lattes, and binge-watching Netflix while piecing together masterpieces. Quilting isn't just grandma chic—it's art.

💚“They only sew floral prints and paisley.”
Think again! Modern quilters are out here stitching up bold geometric designs, Star Wars-themed quilts, and even funky meme-inspired creations. Floral’s great, but we’ve also got quilts that look like they just walked out of an art gallery.

💚“They’re patient saints with perfect sewing skills.”
Oh, honey, if only you heard the unholy amount of cursing that happens when the bobbin runs out or a seam is sewn backwards... for the fifth time. Quilters are warriors battling fabric, thread, and their own sanity. And yes, we laugh about it—eventually.

Quilting: it's not your great grandma's hobby anymore (but her cat might still approve). 🧵😄
