O+ Petaluma (pronounced oh positive) is a volunteer-run grassroots organization that brings together art, music, and wellness. Our annual festival is held annually on the first weekend in November in downtown Petaluma, Calif and is the celebration of our year-round community building mission. During the festival, participating artists, musicians, and volunteers exchange their contributions in retu

rn for wellness services from art-loving doctors, dentists, and other local practitioners. In short, it’s a system of exchanging services that are core to well-being for concerts and lasting public art. O+ hopes to unite local businesses, residents, artists, musicians, and wellness practitioners by strengthening the fabric of the community with vibrant lasting works or art.

Petaluma has a new face on a mural in American Alley! The mural by Maxfield Bala was given a facelift last week. Keeping with the theme of an electrical box on B street and Petaluma Blvd, Maxfield’s new mural is laden with nature’s Eyes.

In Kingston, volunteers are gearing up for this year’s O+Festival starting Friday October 5th.

Music, murals, medicine for musicians, artists, volunteers, and the community.

A couple of us from O+Petaluma are teaming up with Reared in Steel to help make flowers for their large art Burning Man project, Flower Tower! If you're interested in helping there are work parties every Saturday till mid August, 10AM-6Pm. If you can't make it Saturday but have some time during the week, message Reared in Steel and we'll find a time. Bring water, gloves, and good vibes! 😊.
