🏘️This tiny cobblestone lane has been continuously inhabited since 1703.

Tucked into Philadelphia’s Old City, Elfreth’s Alley is considered the oldest residential street in the United States.

Behind the brick facades are 32 homes that once belonged to blacksmiths, dressmakers, glassblowers, and other working-class Philadelphians who helped build the colonial city.
