The Philly Caribbean Carnival takes place on June 20 in Fairmount Park and is one of the region's premier celebrations of Caribbean heritage.

“Give Us Room to Rhyme!: A Brief History of Irish Mumming” will feature folklorist Dr. Caroline Joy Tatem, PhD, as she dives into the history, culture, music, and community traditions of Irish Mumming, and the connections it shares with Philadelphia’s own Mummers heritage.
