We’re honored to be featured in Billy Penn’s latest neighborhood spotlight on Pennsport!

The article takes a look at the rich history, traditions, and landmarks that make Pennsport such a unique part of Philadelphia—including a visit to the Mummers Museum, where the story of Philadelphia’s Mummers tradition comes to life.

Whether you’re a lifelong Mummer, a South Philly native, or visiting for the first time, the Museum offers a chance to explore the costumes, music, memorabilia, and history behind one of Philadelphia’s most beloved traditions.

Thank you to Billy Penn for highlighting our neighborhood and helping share the story of the Mummers with a wider audience.

Pennsport's name was created in the 70s, but the neighborhoods history traces back to the Mummer's 1901 orgins and much further.
