Remembering Dito van Reigersberg, known to so many as Martha Graham Cracker. 🤍

As Martha, she filled rooms with music, wit, glamour, and heart. As Dito, he helped shape Philadelphia’s theater and cabaret community through a career defined by generosity and fearlessness.

We were honored to welcome Martha Graham Cracker to The Weitzman during a 2014 residency that invited artists to explore and reinterpret American Jewish history. Drawing on his own Jewish family heritage through his mother, Dito brought humor, music, and imagination to the stories in our galleries—offering audiences a new way to see them.

We hold his family, friends, and all who loved him in our thoughts. May his memory be a blessing.
