Maine Rockers

Maine Rockers Maine Rockers are hand made rocking animals built in Phillips Me out of sustainably harvested local white pine or reclaimed lumber. A web site is coming soon!

After doing timber framing and carpentry for most of my life, I'm now going to settle into my workshop and make these fun rockers along with marionettes, automata and other sculptural folk art. I often use old wood and metal that I've collected over the years and much of the new wood comes from trees I've cut myself and had sawed by a local sawyer.
