THANK YOU, Benton County, for celebrating our 75th anniversary with us on Saturday! It was a wonderful day filled with great music, delicious food and drinks, fun games, and, most importantly, an amazing community.

We loved seeing all of you and sharing this special milestone together. Thank you for being part of our story!

We couldn’t wait until Monday to share our next MUSE… we’re just too excited!

Join us in June for MUSE: Cheers to Educators! as we celebrate the incredible teachers and school staff who bring so much to our classrooms and community. 🍎✨

All regional K–12 teachers and classified staff can show their school ID and receive a complimentary year-long Museum membership!

This community celebration, sponsored by the Corvallis Public Schools Foundation, is open to everyone and packed with fun:

Help us celebrate 75 years of the Benton County Historical Society!

Join us on May 30th at the Philomath Museum for a full day of 1950s-inspired fun from noon–6pm. Enjoy live music from Big Fir, delicious food and drinks from Groovy Blendz, Sabor, Mud Oven Pizza, Bitty Boo’s Burgers & More, and Cardwell Hill Cellars, plus dessert by Elena Chavarria.

The celebration will also feature a vintage car show, lawn games, kids activities, and more. And yes, the food is on us!

From now through Labor Day, Monday, September 7, Benton County Historical Society is proud to participate in Blue Star Museums, offering free admission to active-duty military personnel and their families, including National Guard and Reserve members.

Blue Star Museums is a nationwide partnership between the National Endowment for the Arts, Blue Star Families, the Department of Defense, and museums across America. Through the program, more than 2,000 museums nationwide provide free admission to military families throughout the summer.

Don't miss the delicious wines offered by Sun Break Wines during our MUSE event this Thursday, May 21st from 4pm to 7pm during the The Corvallis Arts Walk. Local winemaker David Patte will be onsite pouring some of his distinctive Willamette Valley Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, small-batch vermouth, and artisanal sparkling cider.

This month at MUSE: Art Grows Here, we are celebrating community arts organizations and rural arts partners!

Maxtivity Creative Space for Community Arts will be onsite with hands-on art booth for all ages! Come get creative with our local arts organizations and learn more about the important ways that rural organizations are empowering art and creativity in our communities! This month at MUSE: Art Grows Here, we are celebrating community arts organizations and rural arts partners!

Living Studios Arts has been providing a creative space for individuals with intellectual & developmental disabilities through a window display partnership at the Corvallis Museum. Check out their new installation and celebrate community art with us at MUSE on May 21st, 4pm-7pm! Special remarks by Jill Baker at 6pm.
