So I’m teaching a visitor from Florida to draw. This is the portrait I chose to teach her. This is my drawing. I picked this because everything is fairly symmetrical. And I thing it’s easier to learn the technique when drawing someone you don’t know. I think you tend to get too critical when drawing a family member. Learn technique first, then expand.
