Clay Madness

Clay Madness Embracing recovery through pictures and fun on Facebook; conducting business every Saturday morning at the Downtown Phoenix Public Market. It's a story..

Clay Madness is a crazy old guy making clay pots and a nice lady cooking beans in 'em. it's a journey... it's a bit more than pots and beans, and you'll just have to look in on us now and then to see what's really goin' on here. it's just a page, not a retail store... it doesn't have to be perfect or even clean just to share some pics of the work with a few friends. And enjoy the company

of people who share our values of sustainable, local, quality, and relationship-based businesses. we'll be posting photos as we make cooking pots and flower pots and just cool stuff, and sharing the experience with y'all. we expect to have some fun and hope you do, too.

That’s how we started out a few years ago, and.. to the letter, that’s exactly how it is still today. We enjoy our Saturdays at the Phoenix Public Market, I still do my annual solo gig for mental health, Victoria is rockin’ as “the blue bowl lady” and I just keep making different things to see how they fly.

We have plans. There’s always something greater to do. I’m working on a few more artful projects in addition to keeping up with our Market display. We’re developing new products all the time. But this is still Victoria’s pre-retirement hobby, and it’s still therapy for me. The venture very closely pays for itself, and we’re rather enjoying the ongoing weekly challenge to show our best and see if people like it.

We closed out last year with a good season that brought us even in the books, started 2018 with our best ever annual Clearance sale, and now having fun working on our live demo events. We’ve started the year strong... this is a good thing.

You’ll find us on Instagram [here] and [here], and I do have to get a website going (one of those somewhat daunting challenges)... but this page will, like our Saturday mornings at the market, always be home for us.
