Happening right now at the Pike Road Arts Center and Water House Gallery: Quilters are showing and selling quilts, and you can talk to them about how they make the quilts. They will be there until 4pm, but I'd get there sooner! Also, while you are there, stop in the showroom and create a card for a kid dealing with an illness!

Barbara has lived in Alabama since 1964 and began creating mosaics in 1996. Mostly self-taught, she draws inspiration from Greek and Roman mosaic traditions and has spent nearly three decades exploring the craft.
