The Arts & Science Center for Southeast Arkansas was founded in 1968, made a commission of the City of Pine Bluff in 1971, and accredited with the American Alliance of Museums (AAM) in 2001. ASC presents programming in the visual arts, performing arts, and the sciences through exhibits, performances, classes, and local partnerships. Education programming occurs on and off site and area schools are

encouraged to visit for free exhibition tours and hands-on activities. Classes are offered for children, youth, and adults with scholarships available. Gallery admission and family programming such as Second Saturday Family FunDay are free—thanks to sponsors, successful grant writing, and the generosity of the local community.

𝙍𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙡𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙨 𝙤𝙛 𝙈𝙮 𝙔𝙤𝙪𝙩𝙝 by Pine Bluff artist 𝘼𝙡𝙚𝙭𝙞𝙖 𝙇𝙖𝙢𝙨 explores the beautiful, uncertain, and sometimes surreal journey of young adulthood.

Through expressive acrylic paintings, fragmented spaces, figures, and cosmic forms, Lams turns moments of reflection into a visual diary—capturing the questions, emotions, and discoveries that shape who we are becoming. 🎨🌌

Come reflect on your own journey as you view the lens of young adulthood exploring memory and self-discovery. This exhibition is on view through January 9, 2027.

𝙄𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙎𝙖𝙢𝙚 𝙇𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩: 𝘼𝙧𝙠𝙖𝙣𝙨𝙖𝙨 𝙂𝙡𝙖𝙨𝙨 𝙞𝙣 𝙍𝙚𝙛𝙡𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 brings together the work of Arkansas artists 𝗝𝗮𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝗛𝗮𝘆𝗲𝘀 and 𝗘𝗱 𝗣𝗲𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗯𝗮𝗸𝗲𝗿, whose unique approaches to glass are connected by a shared mastery of one of art’s most transformative materials.

On view through January 16, 2027.

From colorful, playful forms inspired by nature and experience to dramatic sculptural works shaped by 𝙛𝙞𝙧𝙚, 𝙢𝙚𝙩𝙖𝙡, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙡𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩, this exhibition explores reflection from every angle. Like Arkansas’s waterways that connect the Ozarks to the Mississippi Delta, the work of these two artists reminds us that seemingly different 𝙥𝙚𝙤𝙥𝙡𝙚, 𝙥𝙡𝙖𝙘𝙚𝙨, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙜𝙨 can still be connected.
