Had a wonderful time at 2024 🐑
The artisans and demonstrations were amazing! I can’t wait to go back next year!

Hello Friends, it’s been a while!

You know how big life events happen and then everything gets put on hold? Well that has been my year! After the studio flooded, I had to abandon it due to repairs….and then we moved. It’s been a lot. But I finally, FINALLY, got back to creating at my new art desk in my new house and couldn’t be happier.

🌲 While dreams of the studio are put on hold for now, I’m looking into new ways to do my art, sell my art, teach art…all the things! So keep a look out and follow along ♥️

Meanwhile… I love them, I wear them, so why not do art with them ♥️

When I create, I imagine a world that I’d love to live in. Fairies and Sprites, Tomtens and Root children 🍂 All scampering about in a twinkling forest where their little houses glow with life, and tiny smoke trails rise from their chimneys. 🌳 🧚🏻 🍁

Sitting by the window enjoying a warm cup of coffee on this slow snowy morning ❄️🏔️ We got a hefty snow last night and maybe more to come tonight. Nothing frames the beauty of the mountains like fresh fallen powder. ❄️ ☕️ A big heartfelt thank you to my amazing husband for designing my mug ☕️ And a HUGE shoutout to my logo designer for helping me bring my logo vision to life ❤️

Cold weather and maybe snow ❄️ this weekend, even tho the calendar says it’s Spring. I don’t mind the cold, giving me a chance to cuddle up by the fire and felt. One of the many things I love about living on the mountain. 🏔️🪵🔥

I’ve been thinking a lot lately about a blank canvas. A journey of possibilities, a path not yet traveled, or a path that’s due for a renewal. We all encounter a blank canvas. It can be exciting, refreshing, overwhelming or scary…at times all and at times none. As I stare at this new blank canvas in my life, this little art studio I’m creating, and what has brought me to it - I smile. I smile for the joy that these walls will eventually contain.

Happy March! This little forest sprite was caught lounging in the sun this morning. Spring must not be too far off, because I see a little happy bloom! 🌸 Inspiration comes in many forms and the turning of the seasons always sparks my imagination! 🌲🌈☀️What sparks your imagination?
