It's time for a Star Party TONIGHT!

Forecasts show CLEAR SKIES TONIGHT!

Join us TONIGHT Saturday, September 7th, beginning at 6:00pm (6:45pm telescope setup) at the Institute for Creation Research Park for an evening of fellowship, fun, and viewing some of God's created universe!
SATURN is at its closest approach to Earth for the year this weekend!!! Skies are forecasted to be clear and relatively cool all night long! Of course we will point the telescopes at a variety of targets, but you don't want to miss the gorgeous views of the ringed planet tonight! We will be imaging Saturn on some of the telescopes tonight as well.
If you have a telescope, bring it!
If not, just bring yourselves, your friends and family too!

6:45pm - Setup and calibration of Telescopes & Finder Scopes
7:43pm - Sunset
8:08pm - Dusk - Saturn Rising to the East!
8:30pm - Saturn at about 10 degrees up
9:30pm - Saturn at about 20 degrees up
9:57pm - Moon sets in the West
10:30pm - Saturn at 30 degrees high

The ICR Discovery Center will be closed which also means the RESTROOMS are NOT available there. However, there is a QT convenience station down the street at Luna & 635 if you need them.
