Thank you, Lena for being our first ever Passport to Adventure participant. We're open for the season Thurs. & Fridays 1-4 pm with an event (coloring activity, game) on May 16, Sat. 9 - 11 a.m. Visit also Main Street's Firehouse Market (every 3rd Sat. morning) for a fun morning in Platte City!

You're Invited MAY 16 to KANSAS CITY'S PASSPORT TO ADVENTURE kickoff in Platte City - Ben Ferrel Platte Co Museum. Children receive passport booklets, enjoy a scavenger hunt. That morning also you can visit Firehouse Market nearby on Main Street - a great Saturday outing

Museum & story tours 1, 2 & 3 pm. 3rd & Ferrel St., Platte City (only one block from historic Main Street & shops) (also, our tour guides can provide Chief's updates through the afternoon - so enjoy some Christmas & get game updates too! :_

Landmark article about our White Christmas at the museum!

Not only have the museum's rooms been transformed into a White Christmas wonderland, but 10 trees have been distinctively and beautifully adorned, explains event coordinator Sue VanAmburg from the Platte County Historical Society.
