I’ll have a lot of new work fresh out of the kiln at the Handmade Holiday Pop Up tomorrow in Columbia Falls. We had a really great first firing of the season and I can’t wait to share the fruits of our collective labor with the local community! Come out and get your last minute presents just in time and help support the growing arts scene in Columbia Falls!!

My Dad passed yesterday afternoon peacefully at home surrounded by love. His passion for life and dedication to craftsmanship lives on in all of us. I feel lucky to have grown up with such a good example of what being a good man and father should look like. Love ya Dad and as you would always say, “Keep smiling” cause I know you are.

Honored to have this teapot included in the Juried Functional Teapot Show at this years NCECA. Go check it out in person the show is in Room 260B in the Salt Palace Convention Center from 26-29th March. It is free and open to the public (you don’t need an NCECA pass to get in to it) and the reception is on Wednesday 26th March from 4-5:30pm.

The second firing of Dorris was a huge success! Everyone in the crew got some super nice pots and as always we learned what we’ll do differently next round.

Firing number two is all wrapped up! 56 hrs to get to cone 11s down and about three cords of wood. Thanks to all the effort from the crew things went smooth and Dorris the kiln did her thing. Cant wait to see what we did a week from now when things cool off!
