Calling all young artists! 🎨

The 3rd Annual Countywide Library Youth Art Contest, hosted by the Woman's Club of Pleasanton and the Longhorn Museum, is now accepting entries!

Competition Categories:
• Kinder–1st Grade
• 2nd–3rd Grade
• 4th–5th Grade
• 6th–8th Grade

Theme: Free Choice Drawing

Submission Dates:
July 23 – August 5, 2026

Drop off your artwork at your local library! Participants are also welcome to create their artwork at the library, where basic art supplies will be available.

Submission Requirements:
• Standard 8½" x 11" or 9" x 12" sketch paper only
• No paint or glitter
• Include the participant's name, address, phone number, and grade on the back of the artwork

Artwork will be judged by local artists and displayed at the Longhorn Museum. Prizes will be awarded in each age division.

Winners will be announced:
Saturday, August 8, 2026, at 10:00 a.m.
