Calvin Coolidge Presidential Foundation Our Vision is to become the gateway to all things Coolidge. We invite you to get involved and support our work to advance the ideals of President Coolidge.

The Calvin Coolidge Presidential Foundation is the official foundation dedicated to preserving the legacy and advancing the values of America’s thirtieth president. The Foundation’s signature initiative are the Coolidge Scholars Program, which provides a full ride merit scholarship to top applicants; the Coolidge Senators Program, which includes an annual summit in Washington DC for top scholarship applicants; and the Coolidge Speech and Debate program, which exposes students across the country to rigorous public policy and speaking competitions. The Foundation’s virtual library is an online resource containing hundreds of Coolidge primary sources., The Foundation executes on these and other initiatives from its headquarters in Plymouth, Vermont and its offices in Washington, D.C.

On December 7th, 1932, Calvin Coolidge wrote one of his final letters to Grace from New York.

Enclosing a newspaper clipping about a red panda, Coolidge called it “Tim’s cousin”—a reference to the Coolidges’ red chow, Tiny Tim.

98 years ago, Coolidge delivered a speech Vermont pupils still learn in school. The occasion was a trip home to inspect reconstruction after the devastating flood of the year before.

“I love Vermont because of her hills and valleys, her scenery and invigorating climate, but most of all, because of her indomitable people,” said Coolidge.
