There are a few mysteries to this "key" to the figures depicted in Charles Lucy's 1847 painting, The Embarkation of the Pilgrims, on display in Pilgrim Hall. The scene is supposed to show the departure of a group of English Separatists who had been living in exile in the Netherlands as they departed to meet the Mayflower at Southampton, England, join with other passengers, and proceed to cross the Atlantic. But at least one of the individuals illustrated was never in The Netherlands! Can you find our misfit Pilgrim?
