I LOVE OUR COMMUNITY!!! I put the challenge out to you this morning to see if I could get 50 people in the museum today. I had 62 people come in today!! THANK YOU EVERYONE!! I’m also happy with how many of you said you follow our FB page.

We had an AWESOME year at the museum and our events! I just finished doing all the statistics. We had 946 people visit the museum this year and 593 people attend all of our events. WOW! You ROCK!

Our guest book showed 703 people representing 26 states and 4 countries, Finland, Mexico, Italy and Chile! Thanks for letting us know where you visited from.

I cannot say enough about our WONDERFUL VOLUNTEERS who donate their time to run the museum. They are the BEST! THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!

Most of all, I want you to know how much we APPRECIATE YOUR SUPPORT OF THE MUSEUM!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!

Today is your last chance to come to the museum this year. I HOPE YOU CAN STOP BY!! I will be there from 10-2. If you have never been in the museum it should be on your MUST DO list. Come see the new displays, purchase some island historical brochures and become a member!

On Memorial Day Saturday I had 46 people stop in, I’m hoping to break that number today. With the amount of people on the island right now it should be possible. Please put the museum on your to do list for today!

Good Morning!

Tomorrow is it! The last day to visit the museum for the year. I am hoping there will be LOTS of visitors! When I opened on Memorial Day Saturday, I had 46 people stop in. I’m hoping we have more than that tomorrow. That’s a challenge! I will be there from 10-2. Stop in and see the new displays, purchase some island historical brochures and get your membership. Every purchase helps support the museum. See you then!

CONGRATULATIONS to Stevie Nelson who won the residents visiting the museum challenge!!! She won a copy of every historical brochure we offer for sale, a $70 value!!

The museum regular hours have concluded for the year. We are only open in July and August. However, I will be at the museum for the last time this year on Saturday, September 5 from 10-2.
