On one of our para adventures we met up with a nice couple in south eastern Connecticut.
They were surrendering a painting with a story. The original keeper of the painting could no longer have it in their house, so this couple being their friends offered to do so till finding it a permanent home.

This couple said they have no real belief nor disbelief in the supernatural but even they were uneasy housing it. They decided to keep it in the foyer so it's not completely in the house, yet not outside... just in case.

He stated that he got freaked out because in the foyer the lights are always off and the door locked. He was already in the house but upon walking out all the lights were on and the door open. He looks over and he said the painting was just staring at him.
Her on the other hand said it didn't really bother her. But when I picked up the painting to say goodbye the TV in the other room came on from being off, full blast. Full blast volume. His wife's eyes were as big as oranges as all our gazes met in shock. She walked over to the kitchen table and picked up the remote... completely freaked she's like ummmm... I reply, on that note we'll take him home now.

Here's what we were given for back story info...

The boy in the painting, Ryan, was brutally murdered by his uncle. The police didn’t find him until 5 days later buried in the uncles barn. The parents had this painting commissioned to remember him. But shortly after weird things started occurring in their house. Things were moving, the mother was having vivid dreams of her son walking the halls of the house.
It ended up being too much for the mother and she took her life (the father attributes it to the painting being possessed by an evil spirit imitating their son) so he wanted the couple we met to get rid of it but it’s a family memento and wanted it to somehow go to a good home if possible.

So after getting it home and looking more at the painting we realized it wasn't hair coming over the boys shoulder... more like rope. So I just asked the question in pic 2 and the answer is there as well...
All I can say is damn!

One section of our home museum is going to be that of the evils of humans. You might ask, how does that relate to the Supernatural? Well some believe in things retaining energy during the events of extreme tragedy. Memories, if you will.

What if you could obtain those non-problematic tragic items and use them to study psychometry? Psychometry is the supposed ability to discover facts about an event or person by touching inanimate objects associated with them. While the objects house the energy, the person touching them is the conductor and interpreter.
If real, that's definitely Supernatural.

That's one of the things that we plan to do at The Radikals Museum of Wonders. Have these items, their stories, and their energies on display. Here's just two of the many items we've procured.
