Choice 2 is now open! If you would like to shadow our program please reach out to Mrs. Hawthorne ([email protected]) to set up a time to visit.

Day 3 started off with the National Zoo and then a wet trip to Arlington National Cemetery. We were able to see the changing of the guard at the unknown soldier. We also saw the eternal flame and where the Kennedy family is buried. We visited the African American Museum and the Smithsonian American History museum. We wrapped up our day with a great dinner at Primos!

Day 2 and we visited a lot of great places! We walked about 8 miles and visited the White House, Grant Memorial, Lafayette statue, went for a tour of the Capitol building and had lunch there. After lunch we moved to the National Archives then the Smithsonian Natural History museum. We did a walking tour of the Korean, Vietnam, and Lincoln memorials. We ended the night with dinner and bowling!

We had a wonderful first day in Washington! We saw the Jefferson and MLK memorial. We also got to see the 9-11 Memorial at the Pentagon. The students learned a lot about that day while at the memorial. Tomorrow we are off to the White House!

We are so excited for all our newly accepted TWO Academies students. Please make sure you have a current Proof of Registration on file or if you coming to us from outside Richland 2 please make sure you follow the directions on the letter you were provided. We will be sending out details about New Student orientation and other information later next month!
