Happy National Travel and Tourism Week and Happy 50th Birthday to the Port Arthur CVB! We're excited to share the cover of our newest Regional Visitor Guide, illustrated by our Marketing Director, Callie Summerlin!

“I wanted to highlight our swampy, coastal culture. After all, Port Arthur is the Cajun Capital of Texas! From mossy trees to coastal critters and friends enjoying crawfish and live music on the water, this cover tells the story of life on the border of Texas and Louisiana. Crawfish on your mind? Cajun Heritage Fest is Saturday, April 4 in the Cajun Capital of Texas. Dare to enter the eating contest? Not sure if local champ Kurt Benoit will be there, but he's happy to share his winning tips. We'll be updating you like crazy on this event at the Robert A. "Bob" Bowers Civic Center.
