🌎 The Seismic Shake-Up — build, shake and rebuild as you experiment with earthquakes and engineering alongside earthquake geologist Dr. Wendy Bohon.

These exciting new exhibits were awarded to the Long Island Explorium through the Association of Science and Technology Centers (ASTC) and the IF/THEN® Champions Network, an initiative of Lyda Hill Philanthropies. We're thrilled to bring even more opportunities for kids to experiment, explore, and see themselves in STEM through the stories of real women scientists and engineers.

We're excited to launch a brand-new series of hands-on workshops exploring the art of fiber!

Join us to learn traditional techniques while creating unique handmade projects:

✨ Fabric Collage & Embroidery (Ages 13+) - August 8th
Create a one-of-a-kind textile artwork using layered fabrics and simple embroidery stitches. Learn basic hand sewing techniques while experimenting with texture, color, and composition to create a beautiful mixed-media piece. No sewing experience is required.
