Tuesday, October 23, 2012 -- Governor Dannel P. Malloy joined state leaders and local officials from Middletown and Portland to celebrate the rededication of the Arrigoni Bridge, which carries Route 66 over the Connecticut River between Middletown and Portland. The bridge, originally opened in 1938, is now fully reopened following completion of the final phase of rehabilitation work.
