Frankie Olivo a Mexican/Spanish descent American, was born on March 10th, 1982 in Montebello, California but grew up in the heat of the desert in Phoenix, Arizona. Growing up Frankie had a wild imagination that often got him in trouble of some sort with over the top art projects that were consider risky for grade school like making a Holocaust Concentration Camp model using his sister's Barbie dol

ls. When he was 19 he was part of a Youth Services' LGBTQQ Youth art show that got him in trouble with Catholic Sun news paper because he used their logo in his own version of the news paper that displayed "homosexual acts." Frankie moved to Portland, Oregon in 2009 and is making a name for him self here by using animal bones, bright colors and lots of texture in his work. He has shown at former Willow House in Phoenix, Morpho Gallery in Chicago, Continuum Heart in Motion in Seattle, aLoft Hotel and Bare Bones Cafe in Portland. In his spare time he likes to read, camp, watching action and horror movies. Frankie is very passionate about Women's rights, Transgender inclusiveness, everyone having the right to marry who they love and ending racism/homophobia/transphobia in all communities.
