The Center for Contemporary Art & Culture is a platform for cultural production including exhibition, lecture, performance, and publication. Housed within Pacific Northwest College of Art (PNCA), the Center throws open its doors to the greater public to foster conversation and community. 🚨 Without further ado, CCAC is proud to announce our Fall 2024 Graduate Curatorial Fellow Mallary Wilson! 🚨

Mallary Wilson is a multidisciplinary artist and designer who engages in digital and traditional mediums including graphic design, environmental installations, painting, and writing. Her currently research focuses on redefining what technological advancement and profit mean in order to generate workable solutions to systemic issues.

Having honed her craft at the Pacific Northwest College of Art (PNCA), her accolades include the Givler Thesis Award Class, the Bridgetown Scholarship Award, the Communication Design Merit Scholarship Award, PNCA Critical Studies Dual Scholarship Award, PNCA MFA Engagement Scholarship, and The Steve O’Hare ‘73 Scholarship. She was also nominated and awarded as one of the Women of Willamette University, 2024.

She now teaches graphic design and typography at Portland State University while simultaneously pursuing dual master’s degrees at PNCA—Master of Arts in Critical Studies and Master of Fine Arts in Visual Studies.

PNCA Faculty Matthew Letzelter curates a selection of works produced by printmaker Maurice Sanchez. For over 30 years Sanchez has worked with artists in the creation of some of the most technically challenging print works. Artists in this exhibition include: James Rosenquist, Donald Judd, Barbara Kruger, Robert Longo, John Baldessari, Red Grooms and Kara Walker.
