Street sweeping is scheduled June 1 - June 5 in multiple Portsmouth neighborhoods.

For optimal cleaning, please remove vehicles from the street by 7 a.m. On-street parking may resume at 4 p.m. Streets will not be swept on normal trash collection days.

High Street Tree Pruning
June 4, 2026
7 a.m. To 5 p.m.

All vehicles in the 200 and 300 blocks of High Street - between Court Street and Crawford Street - need to be removed before 7 a.m. on June 4, 2026 for tree pruning work to be performed by Xylem Tree Experts. This work will be from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Vehicles not removed will be towed at the owner's expense.
