We held art shows that featured local artisans of all mediums & cultural hub. The TEN SIX Gallery & Artists’ Collective is a project put together by local artists and sponsored by the Washington County Community Partnership. We’re conveniently located 2 doors up from the Washington County Courthouse at 106 N. Potosi, Missouri. We are a start up, non-profit organization with a focus on stimulating
and enhancing the influence of the creative arts on our local community. We exist out of a basic need in our community for a place to commune at to enjoy and appreciate high art. It’s intended to be a cultural hub of sorts. Once the building’s repairs are completed, we will tentatively open in Autumn 2015. We will be providing a range of services including art gallery shows, acoustic music performances, art and music lessons for people of all ages with a focus on children, at risk teens, and the elderly. Our success relies fully on townspeople involvement and patronage. We will be running solely on donations and volunteer work, aka sweat equity.
