Rose Gallery of the Arts will be having a special POP-UP showing this Saturday, July 16th from 1 to 5 PM. We will be featuring photography from Bill Oakey, an Austin Texas artist. We have 12 of his works on sale in our Gallery. Bill will be here to meet with visitors and explain his work and his vision. Bill is a multiple award winner in the City of Austin photography shows as well as other regional shows in Texas.

Full disclosure, Bill is my cousin and this will be his 1st ever visit to NY State. Can we make it a great day for him? Please stop by on Saturday to meet him and see and buy his work.

We will have the closing reception for our Poughkeepsie High School 1st Place Artist, Elvis Ricketts as well (same day and time). Elvis will be there with a big smile discussing his work and his plans for college this fall. We have 4 of his pieces in our Gallery and he may surprise us with a couple photographs too. Please come by to support this talented young man as he moves his career and education forward.

Remember, that it is this Saturday, July 16th from 1 to 5.

Join us tomorrow, 6/18, at our 330 Main Street gallery, for the Queen City Open Studios events. Our Gallery will be featuring the work of award winning photographer Bill Oakey, from Austin Texas. His photos are all printed on stretched canvas. One of the photos we are proud to have in our exhibit won 3rd Prize from Canvas Press 2016 Flower Prints contest in Tyler Texas.

We are sorry to say we need to delay the Grand Opening of our Gallery due to contractor delays with the store front. We will have another soft opening weekend during the Open Studios Tour, June 18th and 19th. Artworks from our first four Artist's will go up next week. Will you be the next to exhibit with us?
