Saturday, May 30th
10:00am- 5:00pm Nautical Beach Party on the Lawn!
Join us on the lawn for a nautical beach party! We’re bringing the beach vibes ashore with fun decorations, ocean-inspired treats and drinks (by donation), beachy lawn games and photo backdrops, sea-inspired crafts, and plenty of music! All ages welcome!

10:00am-5:00pm Salty Scavenger Hunt in the museums!
Can you point out a Poulsbo Boat in the wild? Do you know the difference between a schooner and a ferry? Come check out our Salty Scavenger Hunt and have fun meandering your way around our exhibits, learning as you go! Sound the foghorn and test your maritime knowledge while looking for clues that will help you answer the questions! Complete the hunt and win a fun prize!

Sunday, May 31st
10:00am-1:00pm Coffee and Cephalopods!
Bring the whole family to Coffee and Cephalopods, where the ocean feels just a little more magical! We will have coffee brewing for the parents, while the younger ones cozy up for a special book reading with our volunteers! Let imaginations drift under the sea with crayons and octopus coloring sheets, nibble on fun cephalopod-inspired treats, play games, and discover the delightfully curious world of octopuses, squid, and their many marvelous relatives.

Get ready to shake your fins and tentacles at our underwater themed party for the whole family! We will have snacks (available by donation), plenty of music, lawn games and activities for kids, and art stations set up! Come dressed up as your favorite salty character- costumes are highly encouraged! This event is FREE, and all ages are welcome!

🌊 The Liberty Bay Festival is almost here!
Join us May 29–31 for a full weekend celebrating our maritime history, historic vessels, local makers, and family‑friendly fun along Poulsbo’s beautiful waterfront.

Here’s a quick look at what’s coming:

• Historic Vessels — Step aboard beautifully preserved vessels and learn about the maritime heritage of Liberty Bay.
• Cruise with the Curator — Enjoy a story‑filled adventure aboard the Carlisle II with curator Judy Driscoll and local residents Tom & Patty Henderson. Donation‑based.
• Presentations — Hear talks like “Building a Viking Ship” and “Let’s Build a Boat! The Story of Ronald Young and the Poulsbo Boat.”
• Kid Zones — Crafts, games, dancing, and hands‑on fun for the whole family.
• And More — Local shopping, vendor booths, and plenty of waterfront excitement.

🚗 Parking Info
We’ve arranged several convenient parking options to make visiting the festival easy:

• Bremerton Parking + Pop‑Up Ferry — Park in Bremerton and ride the Carlisle II Pop‑Up Ferry to Poulsbo on Saturday, May 30. A fun, scenic way to arrive. Donation‑based.
• Off‑Site Parking + Shuttle — Park at Poulsbo Village or Gateway Park & Ride and take the shuttle to Jensen & Front Street. Shuttles run every 30 minutes and are donation‑based.
• Downtown Parking — Downtown parking is available; please be mindful of posted time limits and enforcement. For timed lots, look for Event Day Parking signs. Scan the QR code to pay for all‑day parking instead of the standard time‑limited stay.
